How Taco Bell (attempted to) squash an 11-year beef with NBA SUPERSTAR Nikola Jokic

In 2014, then-unknown Nikola Jokic was quietly drafted during a Taco Bell Quesarito commercial

So when the Quesarito was re-released 11 years later, many people were excited to taste their favorite item again.

We just wanted him to try it.

  • Transit signs saying "Joker Give the Quesarito a chance!"
  • Bilboard saying "Joker Give the Quesarito a chance!"
  • Bilboard saying "Joker Give the Quesarito a chance!"
  • We showed up wherever he went

imploring him to give his double-tortilla-wrapped nemesis a chance

  • “I think I've never had taco bell, just because of that”

We even showed up at his work

We covered every seat in Ball Stadium with T-Shirts to get our message to him. Surely all of his loyal home fans could convince him to try it.

The shirts became so popular that fans offered to buy them, made knock offs, sold them

  • Image of someone wearing a knockoff t-shirt with a quesarito saying "I still won't try it"
  • a social media post showing the t-shirt and claiming "someone is going to thrift on the these in 20 years"
  • screenshot of someone selling the t-shirt online for $60

AND YET...

When he finally responded,

it was in pure Jokic fashion.

"Its a little beef I have with Taco Bell"

Will he ever give the

Quesarito a chance?
